About Us
The Story Of Da Kao RestaurantFirst Generation
The restaurant was founded by Chinh, Thuy Tran couples and theirs brother and wife. in 1994with their life saving and a heart full of hope, they opened Da Kao Restaurant. Da Kao is theirhometown name of Vietnam. With Thuy greeting guests and managing the front of the housewhile Chinh and his brothers crafted dish in the kitchen. The first few years were challenging.They worked tirelessly.
Time fries to 2019, they would like to retire and ready to sell the restaurant.
Second Generation
In 2019, Wendy Huang graduates from culinary school. She is looking for to open a restaurantThe timing was just right, so, Wendy and her friend Jolene took over Da Kao restaurant. Theycamied out a series of renovations and improvements on the restaurant, but the dish stillretained the original flavor to meet the needs of loyal customers. Word of our delicious foodand dining environment, the small restaurant was buzzing with patrons.

This restaurant is something you would find in the "Old Market" in Omaha. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was outstanding and the food was spectacular! It was seasoned nicely, flavorful, and fresh! Here is a pic of the kung-pao chicken. I haven't had such an authentic tasting dish like this in several years. I will be coming back. The serving was generous so I had a delicious lunch today! They serve the best, Jasmine tea! 🥰

Food is really good with choices of Vietnamese andChinese dishes! We were there almost everyday whilevisting.
Oh my, it's amazing!!! 've been struggling to find foodhere, in America, that is not spicy. l found it! l ordered the32 on the viet. Menu and it's perfect not spicy andhealthy. By the way, they said it would take 1h to deliver,but it was 30min.
